There’s a precautionary drinking water advisory in effect for everyone in the Village of Macoun and anyone using water from the Macoun public water system.

Until further notice:

• Boil all tap water for at least 1 minute before drinking, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing your teeth.

• Don’t drink from any public water fountains or taps connected to the local supply.

• Use bottled or other safe water if possible.

• Keep an ear out for updates from local authorities on when the advisory will be lifted.
